For two weeks in June-July, students are welcomed to the island
of Lesvos, Greece, a center of learning since ancient times and
a bridge between Europe and Asia. Here, they attend courses on
subjects of their choice. They will spend time integrating into
the local community by taking part in community service
projects, and they will travel throughout the island on daily
excursions to the ancient sites, museums, and monasteries.
Our aim is to provide students with the opportunity to
experience Greek village life by immersing them in this
culture. We hope to enhance students' critical thinking skills
by introducing them to subjects outside the traditional high
school curriculum.
